Using Safari Version 2.0.3 (417.9.2) w/ Tiger 10.4.6 I get this:

Safari can’t open the page.
Too many redirects occurred trying to open “http://www.consumerreports.org:80/main/pwi/auto_login_gateway.jsp?pwi=http%3A%2F %2Fwww.consumerreports.org%3A80%2Fcro&pwi_cnt=%2Findex.htm”. This might occur if you open a page that is redirected to open another page which then is redirected to open the original page.

When I type www.consumerreports.org it resolves to:

http://www.consumerreports.org:80/main/pwi/auto_login_gateway.jsp?pwi=http%3A%2F %2Fwww.consumerreports.org%3A80%2Fcro&pwi_cnt=%2Findex.htm

and then gives the error above.

In Firefox, no problem.

Funny, huh?

Thanks and solve well, all.

David

I clicked on all the above links, all of them loaded up, no problems at all.

I'm using my brand new 17" MacBookPro, Tiger 10.4.7 and Safari 2.0.4.

:-)
