Can't seem to use bold and italic buttons. I just selected the word "italic" in the previous sentence and then clicked the slanted I button above the text entry box and all I got was the weird backslash lower case open bracket sequence right before the words "I just". The "sequence" above cannot be seen in the post. When I selected a word and then clicked the italics button, instead of italicizing the word "italic", everything I typed after clicking the italics button came out in italics. Can one not select text and then format it? Any advice? Be well, all. David Buckley |

It doesn't work like a word processor. The backslash and command opening brace is what's inserted when you click the button first time. Then type what you want and click the button again to get the closing brace. |
