I am having trouble with launching Microsoft Word 6.0 on my iBook G4. I got the download from a site called Acquisitionx. Everything went fine. The downloaded file is unzipped, and that went OK. But there is no install or launch icon in the folder. The Acquisitionx site doesn't seem to provide any instructions. Does anyone have some ideas about how I might proceed? I am not completely literate with this kind of stuff. I didn't think it would be so hard.

so wait.. you've stolen Microsoft Word, the downloaded file may be corrupt, and you're asking for help with that?

I'd think you might want to be a bit more discrete, but hey, that's just me.

It probably installed spyware, too. Better wipe your disk and do a clean install.

Spyware for Mac OS? Say it isn't so!

Maybe Chicken Legs assumed the software is legal. Though I agree, it is highly unlikely.
