I reinstalled Roxio on my my new hard drive, but when the program comes up, I can't push any buttons. I can't even close it by pushing the little x button. Are there other (hopefully free) programs that format cd's for you (yes I have a PC). I want to burn some tunes, man. |

just curious, but do you have iTunes? That does a pretty nice job of burning audio cds. just make a playlist of the songs you want to burn, and hit burn up at the top right. If you don't have it, it's free. www.itunes.com And yes, it works with pc's. |

true dat, but Roxio should be working right, did you un-install Roxio first, then re-install, if so, did you restart the computer before re-installing? |

Bailey, I do have itunes, but nothing will happen with any blank cd until it is formatted. I'll try to uninstall/reinstall with restart. |

I've never had to "format" a cd to burn to it, it should just ask you to insert a blank cd when you're ready to burn. Have you always had to do that? Doesn't sound right, unless maybe it's a CD/RW? You should only use CDR's for audio cd's I think. |
