I don't know if this is the place to ask, but I figured I would try anyway.

I am looking for a very, very cheap computer for my kids to play games on.
Where do I look?

Any ideas?

Why not just buy them a gaming console, Play Station or Xbox or Nintendo? How old are the kids?
Btw, many computer games are very adult oriented, so you may want to watch which games they play. If the computer is connected to the internet, it's also going to be subjected to the malware out there.

For about $300 you can get a computer from dell with a monitor. If you are looking for something even cheaper you can check the Sunday paper for ads from CompUSA, BestBuy, and circuit city for computer that might go as low as $250 with a monitor.

I could give you an old computer that runs windows 98, but unless the games that the kids are playing are 6 or 7 years old they probably will not run very well, if at all on that computer.

I just got one for free.

My kids are 5 and 6 and it is for little Vinnie the Pooh games, ABC games etc.

I don't want them to have xbox etc. I want them to learn the comp.

Thanks Guys!
