Has anyone purchased a video camera in 2002/2003 that can recommend one? I am interested in combining the functions of a digital camera and video camera into one device. The digital camera functions should provide high quality pictures. I have no experience with purchasing cameras. Thanks in Advance. |

The newest generation of camcorders now record directly onto a DVD. The advantages of this type of medium are many. There is no tape to crease, jam or wear down. In addition, since it is a non-linear format, you are able to selectively delete unwanted scenes and make that disc space available for rerecording. These 3" disc can play back in any DVD player (home version or computer) and can be easily edited. They are just coming on the market, so by the time you're ready to buy, they will be available. |
