I think you have a bug, or a design error.
Often threads develop within threads. They end up being lost as they look like archived postings. Look in, ‘Soapbox’, ‘Cities for Peace Website’ for an example of two that have nested within a thread.
If you move yourself to a major sub heading, such as Education, and look, you will find the ‘Start a thread’ on the bottom. That is cool, and as it should be.
Now if you descend into an existing thread, such as ‘Soapbox’, Cities for Peace Website’ and look toward the Top Left, you will see a ‘Start a Thread’ icon.
If you were to click on that icon you are able to develop a thread that is buried within a thread and becomes lost.
I would respectfully suggest that the Upper Left ‘Start a Thread’ ability, nested in a thread, should be removed as it is confusing at best.
