when I check for new messages, it says the last time I checked was July 22. I know this has happened before, but I can't remember what I need to do to fix it. Dave? |

It appears to me that President Bush's roadmap to peace for Israel and the Palestinian people is filled with contradictions. Colin Powell calls for Hamas to be eliminated last week. Today, Ms. Rice is calling on the Israeli government to use restraint. What is the policy on this matter? President Bush has asked that the funds of Hamas' humanitarian wing be frozen claiming they are aiding the military wing. Where is the evidence? |

Hi Analyst. I think you've confused this topic for the place to post new messages. "New Messages" here refers to a function of the message board software. I think you want the Soapbox area. |

Dave, I'm seeing the following message when I try to access "New Messages" today: This function is disabled while the board is in "Maintenance Mode." Is this due to continued work on the server change? |

I'm still getting the "Maintenance Mode" message at 3:45 pm. I did try refreshing the screen and closing/reopening the browser but it didn't help. |

No ... I'm clicking on "New Messages" in the leftside list on left.shtml. I get the same error message when I click on "Keyword Search". |

This is the oddest thing. Since the server change two days ago, if I try to check for new messages (or click on anything else for that matter) it opens it in the header where the banner ads are. (But this is behind the existing window.) I haven't changed anything on my end, but my computer always acts a little funny. Any suggestions? |

that's odd shh, what browser are you using? Are you on PC or Mac? I need to try and recreate what you're experiencing in order to remedy it. Anyone else having a similar issue? |

On a Mac, Internet Explorer 5. When I click on "search" the search window opens up fine, but somehow it ends up putting the results in that banner area, behind the search window but within it, if you can imagine that. There's no way for me to see it. |

The little sign "new" beside each category has stopped showing up. |

The "New" tag will show up, but it takes a long time. |
