I really like the new appearance of MOL - much easier for these tired eyes to read. Thanks, Dave! |

Yeah, my eyes were bugging out a bit with the default colors -- that blue was really getting to me. |

Some, but it's more template driven, which is updated through a database. I'd prefer all CSS, but this is just as easy to change. |

I think this new look is very hard to read. |

A bit better now? Compare this section (tech support) to others. The message text is now black rather than a gray. |

Yes, better, but I still find this particular font difficult to read as body text. |

I agree with BJP. The font is hard on the eyes, although the color in this thread is OK. Block lettering is easier, IMHO. Sorry to complain...it feels very ungrateful). |

Research shows serif fonts are easier to read in print, but not on screen. And vice versa with sans-serif. |

I'm finding this new format harder to read do to the lack of contrast. And I notice that with a little glare from the sun or a lamp, I can't see the difference in colors to indicate what thread I have read and have not. The colors are just too close, for me. |

Tom: I couldn't put my finger on what was bothering me, until you mentioned the serif issue. Also, could the unread links go back to blue? I can't keep straight whether brown or green means "unread". But, minor nits aside, thanks for continuing to improve things. [Edited to add: Thanks for making the adjustments - Looks nice!] |

Font too "busy" for type size which is too small. Has a dizzying affect on me while scrolling. Colors ok IMHO. |

Dave, thanks for going back to the old font...I guess we're all anti-progress. |

I liked the smaller serif font once I was in the thread (more info per line, less scrolling), but I really dislike this condensed font. Black is a little easier to read than the gray was. I'm going to have to get used to the buff & taupe though! |

I just changed the default font to Lucida Grand, which is the system font on Macs. For Windows users the font will be Verdana (like the old site). |

I still liked the way it looked when you made the first round of changes. Oh, well. |
