Dave, I find that frequently the Bulletin board loads with old messages only. I will visit a page, soapbox for example, then go to Arts, return to soapbox and it will be showing posts from 2 days ago as the newest. It seems to be random. Refreshing doesn't seem to help. Any thoughts? I'm using a iMac with MS Explorer. (FYI) |

It's not a bug; it's a feature. The last active topic moves to the top of the list. This was changed from having topics stay in static position about 3 or so weeks ago. |

Dave, Let me explain. If I go to a page, it has a new post, let's say dated 6/26. Then I re-visit the page a hour later and it loads with the last post being 6/22. no longer showing the 6/26 post or anything after 6/22. bizarre! |

Weird. The software on the server side isn't causing the problem, so I wonder if your browser's cache is doing weird things. My advice is to try it in Netscape and MSIE and report results here. |

Try a forced reload. Hold down the control button while clicking "refresh." If that doesn't work, clear your cache manually and then reload. |

Dave I posted this reply earlier today, but I guess the post got lost. ??! Anyways, what happens is if I visit a page, let's say 'soapbox' and there is a current post dated 6/27. Then I go to another page with a last post of 6/25. I then return to soapbox and it should show the post dated 6/27, but instead, it loads an old page with updates only untill 6/22. !!? These dates are only used for examples. |

It must be a cache issue. Posts on the board are written out as static html files, so the posts are definitely there. However, it seems that your browser is caching an older file. Tom's advice is good, but it actually shouldn't be required. Have you changed computer or browser recently? |

No, same old, same old. I tried to purge the cache, but it comes back the same. I cleared history, refreshed and still -sometimes I get new, sometimes I don't. Yes, strange. Maybe I'll follow Nil's advice and ask NJT. They seem to clear the tank just fine. |
