Dave, this happens to me now and then. It comes around to annoy me for a while and disappears as mysteriously as it showed up. After searching (since last login) and selecting a message to read, I press the "Back" button and it tells me that the Page has expired. It requires me to re-search every time I read a message. I am using Windows XP. Any idea why this occurs? Thanks |

Not really sure about it, but a good workaround is to log into 'edit profile', go to 'preferences', check the box that says 'When searching, open resulting pages in a new window' and save profile changes. This way you won't need to use the back button. |

I think that's because the "expired" page is a form. Opera doesn't insist on resubmitting a form when you press back. Try downloading the opera web browser at http://www.opera.com. You might find you like it a lot better than Internet Explorer. |

I have only gotten an expired page message when I try to scroll back to or reconnect to a screen in which I had been entering, previewing or editing a post. This can be a real headache if you use a dial up connection with a tendancy towards disconnects without warning but I can understand why the system may have been set up with this feature. |
