Spybot S&D Problem

I ran it and it detected a bunch of "questionables", mostly cookies. When I try to "fix selected problems" Spybot stops responding. This results even if I try to "fix" only the cookies, the least potentially malicious, imVHo. Any ideas? Remove the cookies 1 by 1 untill you identify the one being used. It's called Spysweeper, from http://www.webroot.com. It works really well. It just takes a LONG time to make the fixes. However, now, "DSO Exploit" comes up on every scan. I've read some message boards and followed the "update & rerun" advice, getting nowhere. Most of the issues posted were from late May, this year. Any ideas?
