Maybe I'm blind or something, but, is there no "Back to Home Page" button on MOL? When I'm done reading posts and want to go back to the homepage, I always have to go to my bookmark. It isn't a BIG deal, but... IS there one somewhere and I'm missing it?? |

Why would you ever want to leave the forum? |

Are you using the left hand navigation version? |

No. What is the left hand navigation version and how does it relate to my question? |

Dego Diva: It has been a long time since i have used the left hand navigation version of the message board but if I remember correctly, it included a link to the MOL Home Page. Anyway it's worth a try: Go to the MOL home page. Click on message board with left hand navigation.

Dego Diva, at the top of the page, there is a navigation system. Are you trying to get to teh home page of the forum? If so, you can click on the link: M-SO Message Board » Tech Support » "Home Page" Button? If you click on the M-SO Message Board, that takes you back to teh front of the forum. Perhaps this is not what you mean, but I thought I'd give it a shot! |

you could always delete this portion of the address in the address bar, "forum/left.shtml", and then click on "go" or press the "enter/return" key. |

I really wish there were a way to get a direct link to thread pages. It's always maplewoodonline.com/forum. Unless you click the "jump to this page" link in your email... |

For a direct link you have to realize that the forum is viewed in frames, if you are using Mozilla as your browser it is quite easy save a direct link. For instance, this is the link to this particular thread, /discus/messages/3137/46873.html?1098601192 If you are using a Mozilla you can right click on the frame you desire, here it would be the portion of the screen with the posts, when presented with a menu you would select "this frame" and you would be presented with another menu. this would give several options you can choose from, you can bookmark the frame, open it in a new window or a new tab, you can save the frame or send the frame (email), or you can view the source or info for the frame. Basically there are a couple of ways you can get the complete address, I prefer not to use IE so I don;t know if you can do this in IE, I have to run off to a soccer game so I can't check right now. I just added a "Return to Maplewood Online" image to the right of the ad. |
