I have installed illustrator 7.0 on new emac 0sx. It is running on classic. Also have installed the post script printer. But I can not turn on appletalk. Followed apple support directions for turning on appletalk through system preferances. Unable to access links. I have an epson c82 printer which does not show up in chooser. Help! I can not print. Thanks |

If it's not turned on in OS X, & you can't do it through system prefs., try this: Open your Utilities folder and then open "Directory Access", check the box next to "AppleTalk", and click the "Apply" button. You may have to unlock this item by clicking on the lock icon in the lower left of the window, you will need to enter an admin password. After doing this, check to see if you can configure AppleTalk, a restart may be required (but I don't think so), or maybe logging off and back on. |

monster, Drove myself crazy trying to figure this out. Finally, saved the file in illustrator as a pdf and opened it in acrobat reader. Printing just fine. Thanks for the info although I could not get it to work. Happy Holidays! |
