I have always been able to find a photo on Google, save the picture to my hard drive, and then upload the attachment to MOL. Only now I can't do it anymore. Everything, even JPEGs, get uploaded as bitmaps and are nore viewable. Can someone help me? I am not even asking how Soda does that WAV thing, or Sbenois captures TV images with funny transcripts on the bottom--I can appreciate professional secrets. But I would like to upload a pic. By the way, I am working with PCs, not a Mac. |

Use Firefox as your browser. IE sometimes behaves strangely. |

Mark: I use IE on a PC also. The best I can guess is that somehow your internet settings must have changed. When did this problem begin? If you can, try using System Restore to get back to a date before the problem surfaced. Or, alternately, you might just wanna download Paint Shop Pro (free) from www.jasc.com and change the bitmaps to JPEG format. Hope this helps. -s. BTW: All the PSP wizardry I do with graphics is via the "UPLOAD ATTACHMENT" action button, and you can upload wav's (below 240kb) the same way.

I've had the same problem in the past. Sometimes clearing your cache/history, etc will help. Otherwise, I just use Netscape to save the photo I need. I am considering switching to firefox too, though. |
