I've been successful in the past, but for some reason when I try now I get a message that the image is too large - even though it's a .jpeg What can I do? |

maybe it's too big. Open it in any image editing application and change it's physical dimensions (height and width) to make it smaller. When you do this, make sure that the resolution of the image doesn't get larger (it should stay at 72 dpi). Resave the image with a new name on your computer (cause you wouldn't want to overwrite the original image with this lo-rez version. Bottom line is, when you resave the image, the file size should have gotten dramatically smaller. Try uploading the new one. Keep doing this until it will let you upload it. Good luck. |

Hey Alley Gater - I have NO IDEA why I didn't think of that! I wasn't successful at salvaging the resolution, but I did manage to get the picture up. You can see it at "Help us name our Greyhound" in the Please Help section. Thank you! |
