Aside from PowerPoint, does anyone know of any software program that makes producing an org chart easy?

Org+ http://www.orgplus.com/ has been the standard for years.

Visio http://www.microsoft.com/office/visio/prodinfo is the alternative - have been around nearly as long as org+ and were bought by microsoft. More flexible "diagramming" software that I think grew out of flowcharting, but less specifically oriented to org charts.

Both have 30 day download trials.

These are the 2 market leaders as far as I know.

I googling "orgchart software" gives lots of hits, but I know nothing of the products. Sorry for stating the obvious which may also be useless.

I've used Visio for org charts and it is pretty good, but with a few quirks. I'm sure now that Microsoft bought it it will turn into a bloated program.

It's a chart of people in an organization that is created to determine who gets fired.

I've used org+ for years and highly recommend it. It's very user friendly and extremely flexible.
