I bought my dad a Compaq Presario laptop and now I want to buy him a docking station. Anyone have any good deals that they know about? Can I buy any old docking station or does it have to have certain specs? |

We use port replicators here at the office. It’s much cheaper then a Docking station. Basically you plug it into a USB port and all of the devices (Monitor, mouse, printer etc.) plug into the port replicator. You can get one for about $70 |

They should because you just load the drivers that come with them. We use the Targus brand. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00006B91E/104-1245130-3391926?v=g lance
