Every so often, I'll find that Links has been added to my MSIE Favorites. I can't explain why, but this really annoys me. Maybe it's because it throws off my use when I access bookmarks - they aren't where I expect them to be after this little interloper appears. Sure, I can delete it after I see it there, but I'd prefer just to prevent it from appearing in the first place. Anyone know of a way to do this? (And, yes, I know all about Firefox.) |

You don't have to use Firefox, I use Netscape. The important thing is that you should get rid of MSIE. |

My guess is...the LINKS folder in your favorites is a system type folder. bookmarks in your links folder can appear across the top of IE as a toolbar. If you put all your bookmarks in LINKS, then you don't have to hit the bookmark menu in the main menu bar. might save you some clicking.... |
