Hello, I own and operate a website and may need to move our back-end programming to a dedicated webmaster. Must have extensive php knowlege, mysql database knowledge and a commercial sense. A consultant who has other clients would be ideal. We are looking for a hands on person with an entrepeneurial spirit. If anyone has any leads, or even knows where I can go to recruit good talent, that would be appreciated. Thanks! |

If you don't need someone local, you can try any of the PHP mailing lists (I do some of this, too, if it's not a large project). SUbscribe to php-list@yahoogroups.com or the php list at php.net (http://www.php.net/mailing-lists.php). If you don't want to subscribe to post, I'd be glad to post a description of the job. I'd just need a bit more detail. |

Two places that I know of are the WWW Artist Consortium email list. I am on the list and if you don't feel like joining I could post the message for you. The other place would be posting to Craig's List in the jobs section. Cross post it into a few different sections, like internet/technology/database/programmer etc. |

Karen, I've forwarded the link to this thread to a highly qualified young man who is a native South Orangeite. He's graduting Stevens Institute of Technology next week, but has extensive and relevant work experience as well. |
