On July 26th, Sree Sreenivasan, a professor and dean at Columbia Journalism school and amazing tech guru, will be giving a workshop on blogging. It's two hours and is specifically tailored for writers/journalists and will cover such issues as, whether to blog your book (and how), the best blogs for writers and journalists, blogs that are overhyped and a waste of time, how to read blogs without drowning in too much info, and how to create a blog and raise your google rankings. (He'll also touch on things I've never heard of photoblogging, wikis, RSS, videoblogging, etc)
It's $25/person and maximum number is 15 people.
It will be help July 26, 8-10 pm.
