Perhaps you'd be interested in seeing a demo from someone who has a copy of Tiger.

Go to the Apple store to see a demo. I don't think it's worth the money. The search is nice but not something I want to pay for. If you like the new widgets feature you can get something very similar for free without upgrading here: http://www.konfabulator.com/download
