Sometimes I think I am going nuts, because I feel confident that I posted something and when I check back for it, I can no longer find the message. Occassionally I find it days later. This makes me doubt myself. Other times, I am sure something was deleted. Did the site glitch? Should I repost it? If I do, will I piss off the admins? Dave or Jamie, do you think you could send notification when you delete a post? Even if the explanation was something terse, I think it would be helpful. If I knew why something was deleted, there is a good chance that I would learn over time not to post those types of things. Maybe a quick note like, "Dear Alleygater, your post in the Technology section to the Deleted Posts thread was deleted because it was offensive (or pornographic, or inflammatory, or annoying, or just because it humored me, etc.) |

If you go under "My Profile" it will list the last posts you have made. This might quicken your search. If your post has been deleted, you will not see it in the list with the rest of them. |
