I'm trying to post an ad on craigslist for my composing services. I've been putting this ad for the past month or so, and everything's been fine. But now, it looks terrible. Here's the link: http://newyork.craigslist.org/jsy/crs/103521686.html This is how it is supposed to look: http://www.composerjohn.com/craigslist.html The code in the craigslist ad is missing the top code dealing with my style sheets (hence the crappy formatting). I'm not sure why this is happening, because I'm pasting the code directly into the ad. Can anyone offer advice or explain what's going on?? It worked last week, but now it doesn't! |

That's odd. I have no idea what is wrong. The post on Craigslist contains no mention of the script. But why? I don't know. Sorry, it's been a while since I have worked on, or even looked at HTML source code.

I know, it's weird. I pasted the code in, I click to view the page, and then the code is missing. What's even weirder is that all my previous ads from the past few weeks (which looked fine for weeks) changed too - why was the code removed? The link to my css (http://www.composerjohn.com/mystyles.css) still works, so I don't know what the problem is. |

I just looked at the craigslist link, and it has the styles applied. |

so the craigslist link looks the same as the composerjohn.com link? It looks different on my screen. And the ccs code is still missing from the craigslist link. Hmmm..... |

Craig's List stripped out the link to your CSS file in the header. Instead, set your styles inline. Should work then. Or CL may strip out all CSS. |

I don't think it worked before. Your browser was probably reading the styles from your cache. You can always call Craig Newmark. He lives in Morristown. |
