Can someone tell me how to put a website address within an e-mail so that all someone has to do is click on it and get there without having to cut & paste it into the address bar? |

Believe it or not, it depends on two pieces of software. One is the email software you use. The other is the software your recipient uses. In most cases, you can just paste a URL into the email, and your recipient can click on it. That's not the case with AOL, though. You must compose the mail in html, which is the language web pages are written in. If you need to know how to do this, let us know what program you use for email.

I have a Mac computer & use comcast for my e-mail. How would I know what program I use? I am not the most computer savy when it comes to the inner-workings. |

If you pull down the left-most menu, I think there is a choice for "About..." which will tell you what software you use and what version it is. Have you tried just typing the link into your message? It just might work.

Tom- I think with AOL it depends on the setting preferences you use. With some of my screen names I can get pictures and links. The one I let the kids use, they can't. |
