I am having big problems getting my email - I thought it was due to the Verizon/rain last week but still no luck this week. I type in name and password and it instantly comes up with the "Page can not be displayed" page. Any ideas? Thanks |

Do you have another web browser on your computer? if you do, try that. If you don't, try clearing your cookies cache and history.

Are you using a recent revsion of Norton or a comparable anti-virus program which creates rules for just about everything you do on line? Norton likes to create rules, especially for things like e-mail programs which send data to/from the computer using something called a server. I my case, Norton decided to create a rule which made it impossible for me to access my main e-mail program and prevented me from sending e-mail, even over the default browser provided by my ISP. I finally solved the problem by going into Norton and telling the program that it was okay to allow my e-mail providers to use this "server". I haven't had this problem since. |
