In laymen's terms, how do I set up and utilize my 20G iPod for entering contacts' information?

You can sync with your address book - are you using a mac or windows?
It's done using preferences in iTunes..

Connect your iPod, open iTunes Preferences, choose iPod, select contacts, then select where your contacts are, outlook, outlook express, or Mac's Address book.

check out iPodSync ,
iPodSync is a tool for Windows users to keep your Microsoft Outlook calendar and contact information synchronized between your PC and your iPod.
This is how it works: iPodSync attaches to Outlook using automation and analyzes your contact and calendar information. Contact information is exported using the industry standard vCard format and appointment information is exported using iCalendar format. The exported contact and calendar information is transferred to the iPod where it can be interpreted and displayed.

now for something completely different, I was looking around on the k-pod site I mentioned in my previous post and ran across some punjabi rap (the death of bhangra (punjabi rap revolution)) by the k-pod author.
Folow this link, http://k-deep.com/music.htm and click on the second song in the playlist.
Who knew that there was an underground punjabi rap movement?

um.. ok, monster, yep, that was different!

Toad - you should see 4 tabs when you select the iPod tab in iTunes preferences, Music, Podcasts, Contacts and Calendars.
According to Apple's website, they added support for Outlook beginning with iTunes 5 for windows.
Do you know which version of iTunes you're using?
