I had an easy time networking with Earthlink in Brooklyn. Here we have optimum high speed, which I hooked up to my desktop no problem. Unfortunately, my laptop won't detect any connection to the internet with the modem, though it does recognize the modem is there and makes a ding dong sound when I plug/unplug. So I thought I'd try the awire networking thing that came from Earthlink, and that won't work either. I'm a little frustrated that I only have one computer that can go online highspeed. Any suggestions, or anyone I can call for a $ consulation? |
