"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - BlackBerry maker Research In Motion Ltd. was dealt another legal setback in a key patent infringement case on Wednesday, raising pressure to settle or face a possible shutdown of its U.S. mobile e-mail service."
Yikes! People may have to resort to returning phone calls emails while at work!
I was on the train the other night next to a woman who would pull a BlackBerry out of her purse every few minutes, and begin compulsively checking, clicking and scrolling the device. I felt for her. She'd resume reading a magazine, only to get the gadget out again 2 minutes later and start the terrorizing procedure all over again.
It was like sitting next to a hamster.
Message: Avoid enslavement to these silly electronic "communications" devices.

To be fair to the woman, she had probably noticed your lack of cell phone and blackberry.... and was trying desperately to distract herself.
If the trip had gone on any longer, I'm sure she would have thrown herself at your feet, begging to be 'initiated' into your cabal of love and low technology.
As a low-tech sports guy, you have a responsibility to make it easier on these poor women. Don't tease them with something they can't have! |

Maybe she was trying to get Ligeti's attention, and the only tool she had was the blackberry. She couldn't just sit there next to such animal magnetism and not try to get him to make a move... |
