We must be doing something wrong! Is there something we're supposed to do when we want to print something from the internet? When we try to print something part of it always gets cut off. Same with some of the email. Tried hanging the margins, but that doesn't work.

At first I thought the paper wasn't wide enough, but it's even cut off in the 'print preview.' Thanks...

Go to File/Page Setup and select "landscape" instead of "portrait" for pages that do this. It should then print OK, at least in most cases. Or, sometimes (but not always), I find that if you go to Print Preview and then play with the options about printing individual frames, you can sometimes get better results. It all depends on how the web designer set things up on the web page, apparently.

There are ways to format webpages so that they will print correctly, but not all web designers do this. Alternatively, some webpages offer links to a "printer friendly version" that will then work for you. (Thread drift - I'm afraid I don't know exactly how to do that either and would like to know so that I can make my webpages more "print friendly" - anyone know?)

IE does that and it's really annoying. Use Firefox as your browser, it doesn't do it.

Since IE is what is used by the majority of people, it still behooves good webmasters to do what is needed to make their sites well-behaved in this regard. So, as mentioned above, I'd sure like to know what it is that the designers of those "good" sites I've visited have done.

Alternate style sheets. CSS makes everything a snap.
