JoanCrystal says it's time I put my profile up. Here goes.

I'm the short, pumpkin-shaped person who can be seen periodically being walked by two overly-friendly Westies along Midland Boulevard.

I am married to a person with the same first name, which causes lots of complications, particularly when filing medical claims.

We have two daughters, now-grown, graduates of Columbia High School. One went on to Cornell, the other to Boston University.

I am the managing editor of an online news site, providing public relations releases and corporate and institutional news stories, to journalists.

Before doing this, I spent more than 30 years as a news writer, editor and producer for one of the networks.

My wife is the librarian at Orange High School.

Our family has lived here since 1983.

I love this town.

So...here I am.
