Hi, I am new to this board. You can call me Toni..or Tia..I have a famous uncle who once lived in your area and on occassion I would visit him. For three summers I would stay with him and he would show me around and introduce me to his friends and places he loved to go. He had a house in ShortHills and Westfield. He is now living in Beverly Hills, but....I have some friends in Maplewood and am seeking them out having not been in touch for awhile. Perhaps reading some of the notes and messeges I can contribute something of value. I also will be posting on the Millburn web site next week, perhaps the people are there as well. Enjoy your day!}} |

I do alot of traveling, but my home base is in Boston. I am an author( amongst other goodies) My uncle is hooking me up this week with people to publish my novel. Gotta run..talk soon. T |

Morning Addy..what do you think I want to jinx myself??( re: novel info) When you see a novel with "ToniBell" on the front cover...and it is about 300 pages thick..you'll know you hit the jackpot...Off to the birds again..( gee, you knew my uncle..he was the one who gave us "Raging Bull" in the 70's)..Any other questions? Have a fine day! |

Wish your uncle would hook me up with a couple of producers. Three shorts in the can and a feature ready to go and all I need is the interest from the Box Office gross of Raging Bull. Though its hard to tell if your uncle shot it, wrote it, or starred in it. You allusion to the 70's hints at him being the writer. Since the film was released in November of '80. to quote Stephen Sondheim.. putting it together..bit by bit..link by link..dot by dot. Have fun with the birds! |

Duncan, you could be right of course, though it has been close to thirty years since it was written..My uncle assisted in the wrtiing, but his main focus was on the production. I was quite young then, and only saw the movie once. I met Bob D last time I visited Ca.., he is a fine man. Perhaps while I am here ( till Sept) I can pass your name on, but it would help to have more specifics..There is a friend of my uncle looking for another writer to make a film..he is in Oakland..never know! The darn Cockatoo bit me..I think I'll let the servant do this tomorrrow!! Cya! T |

Last film I directed.. slept in a room next to two massive Macaws. Was shocked awake at daybreak each day of the shoot by "HELLO BABY" and "PEANUTS PLEASE" at ungodly volume. |

Nice profile change Toni/Janice. I thought you were a chef from NH and now you are a writer from MA! And your age and some other stuff changed as well! You are too quick for me. In any case good luck with your book, your "servant", and your seeking of old friends in Maplewood and Millburn.

I noticed it too Dave. Wendyn is right. One day she was a chef from NH then bam a writer from Ma. some other stuff changed as well. The little red flag went up with the phrase "The darn Cockatoo bit me..I think I'll let the servant do this tomorrrow!! Cya! T" |

Honestly I don't know what you all are making such a hoopla about.I checked the profile and saw that it was a mistake. I corrected it. I don't know Janice.I don't know why it was what it was. Perhaps it will always remain a mystery. Gee, I hope you all have better things to do,I know I do.I am looking for Monique from Millburn and Carolyn from Maplewood. If they saw my name they would know me! Cya T |

you checked the profile and saw it was a mistake??? Who filled it out then? Your servant? Really toni or whoever you are, while we do indeed have better things to do, don't insult our collective intelligence. Good luck to you in finding Monique and Carolyn. |

If you are such an intelligent group, perhaps you would know that it is possible to have access to others profiles and beable to change them. There are alot of intelligent people out there who have the ability to do things with computers that even you as a group you can't figure out?? I know of a better place to seek out friends, and that is right where I am. Cya T |

I got this little email from our friend Toni this morning..thought i would share.. I hope you Nj people find happiness in your own sad state of affairs. I will never reccomend that sight or any of the other sights to anyone who might be looking for old friends..you can't even be real people! Though I would like to know how someone could get into my profile and change it. My password has to be worth something doesn't it?? Cuase I just tried to get into edit Toni's profile and son of a gun, its password protected. So I couldnt change it back to the chef in Ma. Oh well.

Duncan- That is a really intriguing e-mail. I do hope "Toni" has a helluva an editor. I think my 5 year old nephew is much better able to spell and construct sentences.
The thought occurs: howzabout a thread to share theories on why people make up patently ridiculous lives & try to join in an online community?

And Dave I caught the profile change because both "Janice" and "Toni" posted on MillburnWeb and I suspected that they were the same person. Neither had a profile on Millburn, so when "Toni" posted on MOL I checked out her profile and low and behold it was a description of Janice. When I confronted her about it on MillburnWeb she denyed it and it was changed when I logged back to MOL. I am much too involved now so I am letting it go. Hope Janice/Toni finds happiness on another site! |

Got it. Thanks. In hindsight the two-dot ellipsis gives "Toni" away. She will need to hone her craft if she wants to be Sbenoisian.
