Guess that means that I'm a hilariously funny writer sitting on a tractor on the prairie?

Thanks everybody for the best wishes.

I have insomnia, since I just came back from CA.
I quit my job which was in Stamford, CT. There were several reasons, commuting time being no 1. My last day was Feb. 25th.
Went to Lake Tahoe for a week of skiing, what a great place. Skied in Heavenly, Squaw Valley and Kirkwood. Had a perfect week with fresh snow and sunny days.
Now I feel as refreshed and up to new things as I haven't felt in a long time.

While staying in Reno for a night and wandering the smokey casinos I found the solution to all the SS shortfalls. Send 50% of the casino profits into SS, since at least 80% of those profits are from retirees anyway.
All kidding aside, I hope I will have better things to do when I'm old then hunching over a slot machine, barely hanging on the handle 24hours.
I'd rather post on MOL in the middle of the night.

Wow, I haven't been on MOL for nearly a week.
Baby Boy earlster was born on Tuesday in Glen Ridge, after laboring at home for as long as possible, we made it to the hospital, just in time to start pushing. He was born not to long after that.
7lb 8oz and 20 inches 'tall'.
Everybody is well.
It's so much easier this time then it was with number one. Actually knowing what to do is great, not just feeling like a complete newbie.

So now with one Girl and one Boy we are complete. I'm officially proclaiming it, this is it. No more.

Princess big sister! is 3.5 years old. So far she is adjusting pretty good. She still likes him, wants to give him hugs and assist with diaper changes. I'm waiting for the day that she asks if we can return him.

She was on the front page of the News Wrecked for mothers day, and when she was the first baby born in Maplewood in 2002. She is very aware of her celebrity status and I really think that she feels important enough that she can take the little loss of attention. Anyway so far she has been getting lots of attention, since I'm not doing any work these days.

Oops, sorry about that. How did I reverse your kids' sexes? Ah well, it's a happy occasion, for sure.

Earlster:

This is the first time I have visited your blog. I saw the picture of "big sis" in the News Record and she is adorable. You must be very proud of her - awareness of celebrity status and all.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still out of work. Have you posted your resume or are you trying a stint as stay-at-home dad?

Joan,

it's not that I can't find a new job. I'm not looking right now. I'm doing some software development consulting, and are planning on doing some work on a pet project with anther consultant, hoping to develop a sellable product.

And yes, I'm very proud of my daughter, she is a great kid, celebrity getting to her head and all.

So it's been a while that I have been adding to this, and almost a year that I started it.

It's been quite the year.

My son is 8 month old by now and getting cuter and cuter every day.

After a year of consutlting I have decided to go back to full time, a startup in the city. My first day is on Monday the 6th.

Currently we are taking an extended family vacation in Whistler, my daughter is taking her first ski lessons and is getting quite good at it.
We are having the best snow I have ever encountered. I spent three days just ripping double diamonds in the smoothest snow possible, then I broke my leg on a stupid blue cat track. The leg will heal, but I'm missing out on possibly the best snow ever. I also really wanted to spend some time skiing with my daughter and can't really do that now.
