Hi - not too many people giving info on themselves, but I will - I'm new to MOL, though not new to Maplewood.
I'm mid-thirties, MWF with 2 little kids - a house full of men & me - even our cat & new dog are boys! The biggest news for me at the moment: I just gave up my "real job" (reformed lawyer) to follow my heart and work full time as a doula (no, not a "tulip", as someone once thought I said) - that's someone who works with pregnant folks and their partners so that they can have the best possible labor & birth experience & get off to a good start in the early days of parenthood. I'm also doing belly casting, 'cause arts and crafts are fun! I'll soon be doing childbirth education too.
For fun, I love movies, books, yoga (when I drag my lazy self there to do it) and hosting/attending dinner parties/BBQs with friends. I ski whenever I can & usually have a camera at arms reach.
Though I'm frequently annoyed with our town, mostly I love it.

Hi Doulamomma,
We met the other day and I was going to call you to see how your services work. At any rate, I figured I'll post here because it's always nice when other people respond to your member profile.

(Baby is still breech btw, though I think she's moving around a lot.)

Please post more info if you can...I'd appreciate it.

Hi Shh,
My goodness - you were up early - guess it's hard to sleep these days...I had terrible insomnia at the end of my 2nd prgnancy.
I found out yesterday that there is a great breech web page & am waiting for a colleague to send me the link.
Meanwhile, you can email me at doulamomma1@hotmail.com & we can email directly or meet - I have tons of books that might be of help.
Best,
Doulamomma

Hi DM,

I have total insomnia! Every day I'm up in the middle of the night and then I fall back asleep around 6 or so...yuck! At least the sleeplessness I'm certainly in for soon shouldn't bother me as much! I'll email you over the weekend! Thanks,

Shh

Well, I have nothing that I can add to your discussion, but I would like to offer my welcome to MOL.

There are a lot of nice folks here and some not so nice ones.

BTW, I running for the Board of Education. How about taking a look at the election threads?

Again welcome.
