I recently got a job working as Senior Producer, New Media for a major newsmagazine television show for a major network in NYC. I need to fill the following two positions. If you are interested/qualified, send your resume to joelscorp@gmail.com Associate Editor Responsibilities: Original writing and some reporting for the website and other non-television platforms, including original in-depth analysis, reformatting of television broadcast content, timelines, captions, promotional content and profiles. Conceiving new interactive features for the website and its products that help add insight to a given topic and humanize the brand. Also, some publicity work including writing program capsules and audio copy for broadcast promotions and station listings. Motivated by passion for content, working closely with Editorial team to deliver on mission. Serves as Deputy to the Senior Producer. Experience: At least 2-3 years in an editorial capacity for a content website or interactive setting Some journalism experience or training preferred Skills: Writing on deadline Proofreading and editing Expertise in online writing and conceptualization Online Producer Responsibilities: Working both independently and with partners to optimize and maintain the website and its features. Proactively suggesting and creating solutions that further the mission on the website and elsewhere. Mintaining and optimizing broadband and podcasting delivery mechanisms and features. Motivated by passion for content and new media, working closely with editorial team to deliver on mission. Experience: At least 2-3 years in an online capacity for a content-focused website Skills: Technological problem-solver with XHTML/XML experience. Editing and writing skills on deadline Java, ASP, CGI, PHP. CSS, Director/Flash and SQL skills desirable. | ||
