I have no idea how to go about finding the names and numbers of a few babysitters I can call for a Fri or Sat evening just so my husband and I can go out to eat or to the movies or whatever. So far all I seem to be able to find are ppl who want a committment to a regular job of EVERY Friday or Saturday. We are in West Orange and we have a 2 1/2 yr old and an 8 year old (both boys). The 2 1/2 yr old is not fully potty trained though we are working on it. But often times we like to go out AFTER the baby is asleep (around 8:30pm)so in that case pamper changes are not really an issue. Anyone have any ideas of college students, high school students, daughters, a friend's daughter, wife, etc. who might be able to babysit (sometimes on shortnotice)but most times with advanced notice? | ||

I have a 14-year-old (CHS freshman) daughter who babysits. The next week or so may be rough with final exams at CHS, but after that the high schoolers who are around for the summer are freeing up. PL me for more info. Tom Reingold also has a daughter who babysits (or perhaps two daughters by now?) and there are several other MOLers who have sitters in their families or babysit themselves. | ||

Hi. I am a 15 year old freshman at CHS, and i happen to be a boy, and i love babysitting. (I know this is rare, and in many situations this is a plus). Hi, I'm well know in this parts as an excellent babysitter. Lots of references from MOLers. I am a 21 year old Honors college student who has been sitting since I was 11. I live on the SO/WO border and have my own car. I'll be in So. Orange till the end of Aug when I go back to school. The hours would work well for me. I live in W.O., as well, and am a certified teacher (my school year job), and father of two daughters.
