I just finished a big project at one of the investment banks in NYC, leading a team that rearchitected a big credit derivatives trading system. Before that, I led a big team that did an enterprise level framework and sales desktop for another investment bank. Both of these were as a full-time director of a financial technology consulting company.

I have about 20 years experience in IT, and I currently focus on Microsoft .NET technologies as a hands-on senior architect and development manager ... and I can still code with the best of 'em. I have consulted in the past for Goldman, Microsoft, Amex, Schering Plough, Citicorp, ADP, etc.

Before I go through the routine of getting my next project, I am wondering if anyone here could use someone of my ilk, either as a consultant or as a full-timer. Although I am open to anything, my current interest in financial technology. (I know that there used to be some senior people from Thomson Financial lurking here).

Pleae p/l me if interested.
