Boutique Media Relations and Strategic Planning firm based in South Orange, NJ, seeks highly motivated unpaid part-time intern to assist with all aspects of the process. Includes research, office support, attendance and help at occasional events, pitching stories and possible writing depending upon skill level. Knowledge of Mac and possession of a laptop are a plus. Clients include a regional community redevelopment corporation (CDC) and a regional funding agency for CDCs. Others have involved the environment and "green building." Probono clients and a documentary film project are in the mix as well. Could lead to paid position for the right person. A perfect opportunity to try on for size for someone in transition.
