My background: I was an Executive Secretary/Personal Assistant in NYC for 11 years (prior to that an office manager in advertising for 3 years) ... I retired last fall and have been working retail part-time. I've done everything from planning parties to working of New York City Ballet's Gala, to college applications, holiday shopping, managing a large household staff. I really enjoy working retail but am looking at the possibilty of finding personal assistant work in the Maplewood/South Orange/Millburn area one day a week. Maybe something like running errands and bookeeping for an older person or helping a family with two working parents ... something like that?

What do you think? Any ideas?

"...bookeeping for an older person"

I'm getting pretty old and may be looking for someone to handle the bookeeping for the B&B when it gets going again. Do you think this is something you might be interested in? PL me if you are and we can talk about it...
