We have a record of hiring summer interns who are outgoing and excited about working with a small company in the food service industry. Sales and Marketing Assistant Openings: Two Dates: Summer Salary: $250/weekly + commissions Hours: M-F (some weekends)/40 hours Requirements: Outgoing, gregarious, friendly, interest in marketing/sales. Must have car. Available on weekends as needed. Tasks: Assist sales department with marketing programs, promotions, demonstrations, sales presentations and direct sales. Assist management with analysis of sales and customer dynamics, as well as, market segmentation and demographics. Help develop a business plan and marketing strategy. Duties: Work with sales department at trade shows, demos, presentations, and sales presentations. Assume sales for specific region. Meet deadlines for projects and proposals. Assist with distributor network. Summary: Summer interns enjoy an opportunity to assume responsibility for ongoing projects. They receive supervision and guidance, but are given autonomy to work independently. Individuals who are outgoing and entrepreneurial benefit from working for a small company and assisting staff and owners with projects and hands on sales/marketing.
