If you call Milburn Vet, they will give you some recommendations. Also ask the vet if anyone has had any complaints on the dog walkers.

Sometimes you can get a local kid to do it for you. jeffl's son has done it for us on occasion, and he might be available for hire on a regular basis.

call Chris and John at Pet People. We have used them for 3 years for our dog, and we're quite pleased with the service. If you are going away and leave your dog at home, one of them will stay overnight with your dog in your home. Thus you have both a pet sitter and a house sitter. These folks are a pleasure to work with and they understand customer service.

We use Jon from The Comfy Canine and think he's fantastic. http://www.thecomfycanine.com

Any additional advice on dog sitters who will stay overnight would be greatly helpful to me.

Thanks.
