My husband, Rick, is looking for work as an art director, comics editor, cartoonist, illustrator or any related position. Check out his website. He's talented and responsible. Nothing is more important than a deadline and he's never missed one. He's also willing to consider even assistant editor positions especially if they offer health benefits. Computer technology caused much of his work to disappear and Marvel Comics, his employer of 18 years, layed off most of their contract/editorial staff 5 years. He's also interested in continuing his freelance illustration/cartooning career if there are publications out there. He has an extensive client list. Thanks to all. In the latest issue of Maplewood Matters magazine there was an article about a local guy who illustrates covers for comic books. Has he talked to him? Kristen |

Thanks for the idea, Kristen. Rick knows him and likes him. Rick is also friends with a few other people who live in Maplewood and work at DC. In fact, it's because of hearing about Maplewood through them that we're here. Take care, Lisa |
