If you or someone you know lost their job as a result of the WTC disaster, the following information could be of use to you in locating employment.

New York City and New York State have opened a clearing house for job postings to help workers displaced or unemployed as a result of the World Trade Center disaster. Individuals can call (718)557-1332 or visit the twin towers job centers at 180 Water Street in Manhattan and 168-46 91st Avenue in Jamaica, Queens.

If you are looking to fill positions you might want to consider displaced WTC workers as a possible labor pool.

Businesses seeking to post job openings can call (718)630-2457 or the New York State hotline at (800) I-Love-NY.
