We are a retail/wholesale business in the center of Maplewood Village that is in need of a part-time bookkeeper - initially 6-8 hours per week - hours flexible. Once things are better organized we can jointly decide the number of hours/week that make sense, although it should not be more than 12 hours/week. Basically, we need someone to organize the wholesale back office - inputting customer invoices, vendor statements, checkbook and credit card reconciliation, updating weekly financial information, and distribution of weekly customer statements. A terrific candidate would be someone who is an organizer, is energetic, a self-starter, who has a penchant for accuracy, is able to manage a couple of different priorities simultaneously, has a working knowledge of Excel, is willing to learn or knows QuickBooks, and has a sense of humor.
