Attention unemployed and under-employed IT people. I just learned that my office is looking to immediately hire Special Examiners (18 hrs/wk, weekdays, in lower Manhattan) to rate candidate's education and experience for computer software, computer operations and computer technical support titles. Qualification requirements are: BA including or supplemented by 24 semester credits in computer science and at least four years of computer software, computer operations or computer techical support experience, working in mainframe or LAN/WAN environments; or four years of computer software experience. This experience must have been recent and must have been in Data Base systems and applications development, mainframe programming, internet and emerging technologies, networking technologies, or PC technologies.
