Paper Mill Playhouse is looking for a Director of Individual Giving to work in the Development Department. This is a full-time, benefited position. The Director of Individual Giving is responsible for providing Paper Mill with expertise in developing and managing annual fund appeals and planned giving programs designed to increase the size and number of annual gifts, as well as to realize mid-range to major gifts from individuals. As a key member of the Development staff, the Director of Individual Giving manages and coordinates all campaigns and initiatives relevant to developing and increasing the number and level of individual gifts. Initiatives include direct mail campaigns, telefunding, donor cultivation activities, events, special projects, and major gift solicitations. Candidate will identify, research, cultivate, solicit, and steward existing and new prospects for mid-range and major giving. Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 years direct, proven experience, and demonstrate expertise in annual giving and donor relations at the highest level of quality and performance. Capital and Endowment Campaign experience a plus. Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to multi-track, work cooperatively, and manage a high volume of projects and deadlines simultaneously.
