HI MOLers. I'm looking for a decent restaurant in Millburn for tonight. Nothing too expensive. Just some good food in a casual/semi-casual setting. I'd love to wear jeans, but khaki's would be fine.

I've read good reviews of Cafe Monet. Any thoughts?

What about Martini's?

Any and all suggestions appreciated!

You won't get in to Cafe Monet tonight - I tried to make reservatons and they are full up.

Basilico is always a good bet. Grotta degli due amici on the Essex Street curve can often be good as well.

There is a pizzeria opposite the Post Office in M'burn with a back room white tablecloth area (byo) that is more than acceptable. Tends to be crowded but friendly.

There's the same kind of pizzeria/dining room combination just down from the Huntley Tavern on Morris Avenue that is quite good and reasonable (byo as well).

don't forget Ginger Taste (asian), Tinga (mexican), Gian Marco (italian) and Pizzetta (italian/american). ALso Samurai sushi and Sono sushi.

Thanks everyone! We haven't eaten at any of the restaurants in Millburn before (we live in West Orange) so we're going to try a bunch of the ones recommended. Tonight, we had an early dinner at Martini's. The food was really very good and it wasn't overly loud, as I've heard it can be. Service was a bit spotty, but it didn't ruin an otherwise good meal.
