There's a resort that assigns you your own babysitter for your entire stay but, for the life of me, I can't remember the name. Right on the tip of my tounge but it's just not coming!!!

Anyone know the place? Anyone ever been there?

Never been there, but I believe FDR has two resorts, both all-inclusive, both with "vacation nannies". One is more rustic than the other. I had them send me info a few years ago, and it looked nice, but we went in other directions.

VIG, I think there are always last-minute deals to be had. Just checked reviews of the place on TripAdvisor, and the majority seem to report it's all good, for what it is. Not a luxury resort, but the luxury would be having a nanny all day, every day, so you're free to do whatever you like. Apparently you can also hire the nannies for the evening hours for $4 per hour (the going rate apparently). My concern would be leaving the kids alone with someone I didn't know, but seems all the folks who have written reviews have felt really good about the nannies.

Yeah, FDR Pebbles Resorts has the nanny deal. I bookmarked this site a while ago when I was looking into it myself...

Haven't been there, but hope to go some day...

We've been to FDR 4 times and cannot wait to return. My family has their own vacation experience there--great family bonding, plus enough "alone" time that you actually relax and enjoy yourself. Feel free to provate-line me with any questions. We've never been to Pebbles, just FDR.

For what you'll pay at an all-inclusive, why not look into renting a villa with a full staff, private pool and meals cooked to order. It's a wonderful experience.

We went here and loved it:

We got married in Jamaica and rented two villas next to each other. Here is one of them we stayed at: http://www.jamaicavillas.com/spymore.html. And here is the main page: http://www.jamaicavillas.com

It was a wonderful experience and the staff was great. They cook for you, do laundry, serve drinks, etc. We stayed in the hills, but you can find some on the beach or with Round Hill or Half Moon.

The Tryall is a great place. It's convenient to the airport & has all the amenities it sounds like you are looking for. It's individual, private villas that are part of a private resort. We had the opportunity to go for a wedding there & had a great time. - Strongly recommend it.
