Hello- We're looking for good Pocono, PA or Catskill, NY (or other driveable locations) lodge destinations that would have in-room fireplaces, nice views, restaurants, etc. With and without kids ideas would be great. Thanks.

Fairlawn Inn is a nice bed and breakfast in the Catskills that my wife and I have stayed at several times. I think it is in Hunter Township but could be in Tannnersville. Anyway, it's next to Hunter Mountain and Tannersville, an area which has a lot of good restaurants. It's a really nice place, Chuck is the owner. They have nice rooms, some with fireplaces. You can view the rooms/prices online at: http://www.fairlawninn.com/

By the way, if you go there, you have to check out Last Chance, it's a great restaurant/coffee & antique shop.
