Just because New Year's is behind us, doesn't mean there aren't some of those 'fun and special days' coming up quickly!

This Tuesday, February 28, is Mardi Gras. So for everyone that can't make it down to New Orleans, we'll be celebrating right here. In addition to some of our staples like Shrimp and Grits with Andouille Gravy and Collards, we'll be offering Spicy Chorizo and Okra Gumbo with Our Housemade Duck Confit, Oyster Po' Boy Salad, Smothered Bluefish, and King Cake.

On St Pat's, Friday March 17, we'll be offering Beef and Guiness Stew, Tilapia Fish 'n' Chips, Our Own Bangers and Mash, and just maybe Bubble-n-Squeek.

Have a fun and safe celebration!

Great reveiw....my husband rarely reads those things but his eyes picked up on meatloaf and he suggested Saturday night dinner....I am looking forward to the appetizer that the reviewer said was a must have (if I can remember what it is called)!!!!!

Stubelou - Thanks. And the asnswering machine's always on if we miss your call. Remember to leave a time.

BGS - I went online right after I spoke to you. Glad your hubby wanting to come by 'synched' with your reading the review. I believe the app you're referring to is the pate. Or, as it appears on the menu, Charcuterie Tasting Plate. Which reminds me, I have to go make some more!

Pete, Sunday the 19th we almost made it in! We started to walk in, maybe it was almost 9, and our new neighbors came out raving about the food. As we were chatting, all the candles were being blown out, so we didn't bother to present ourselves. Everything sounded so delicious (and she was a vegetarian and loved the lentil lasagna thing) we will have to plan better for next time we have a kidless night.
